Weekly Reflection on School Internship Phase 2

                                     For the Internship I selected Mount Tabor H.S.S., Pathanapuram for the 30 days teaching practice. I got 8 B English medium class. With planning and preparations got ready for the teaching practice. The teaching practice started on 12 Nov 2018. This is a weekly reflection from 12 Nov 2018 to 16 Nov 2018.


                                      On the first day we student teachers came to the school around 9:20 am and met the school principal and signed the attendance register. Then we met our concerned teachers. It was a fabulous day. That day of the school started with prayer. Build a rapport with the students and the class went well. Students were very active and interested in doing worksheets. On the second day, reached the school at 9:20 am and signed the attendance register.  In the free time prepared lesson plans and activity cards for students. Visited the student teacher for the peer evaluation. 14 Nov 2018, Day 3, it was the children’s day and the school conducted an assembly for celebrating the children’s day under the supervision of the school Principal. Some programs were conducted. Met optional teachers at college and got lesson plans signed. It was a admirable day.




                                       Day 4 the classes started with prayer as usual. And I got 2 hours according to the timetable. And I completed 2 lesson plans. Gone for peer evaluation and prepared my lesson plans in the free time. The fifth day classes started with prayer and completed one lesson plan in my class. Students were interested in observing videos and activities. They actively participated in the activities provided. This week was memorable. Energy of students gave a positive mind. I got the opportunity to reflect myself. I decided to overcome my imperfections in the coming classes.

Weekly reflection on school internship phase 2 Weekly reflection from 26 Nov – 1 Dec 2018 “ Education is the best friend. An educated person is respected everywhere. Education beats the beauty and the youth.”       - Chanakya   Third week of the school internship phase 2 started from 26 Nov -1 Dec 2018. This week was very special and proud moment as Sri. Shashi Tharoor [M.P.], came to Mount Tabor Pathanapuram for the Mar Thoma Dionysius Memorial Lecture on 27 Nov. On Monday (26 Nov), the school work started with prayer at 9:50 am and reached the college by 9am. Today I’ve got an extra period as the English teacher was not present. I completed one lesson plan of topic ‘spherical mirror’ and the lesson plan was integrated with cartoon and it was my innovative work.
