Weekly Reflection from 19 Nov 2018 – 24 Nov 2018

Second week of the school internship phase 2 started from 19 Nov – 24 Nov
2018. This week was with new experiences and positive energy. On 19 Nov (Day-6), reached the school by 9:20
am. A program named ‘MALAYALA THILAKKAM’ has being conducted by the school to
raise the level of students learning. I’ve completed one lesson plan and the
topic was ‘classification of mixtures’. Gone for substitution classes. The next
day was holiday and there were no classes.
The Day-7, I came to school around 9:15 am, and that day’s school work
started with prayer. The program ‘malayala thilakkam’ has conducted in the
school. Also, some students were
selected from all classes for a three day seminar under the program of “VIDHYARANGA KALASAHITYA VEDI”. I completed one lesson plan and the topic was ‘true
solution, colloids, suspensions ‘. Students were interested in doing
activities, group discussions and observing videos.
The Day-8 went well. I had completed
the topic ‘path of light beam through true solutions, colloids, suspensions. And
went to visit the class of the student teacher Rekha, from natural science option
for the peer evaluation. Got substitution class at VI.A class. The students
were energetic and talented. The day-9 started with prayer and completed my
lesson plan on the topic ‘soft drinks’, and completed one chapter in chemistry.
Collected feed backs from the students. The programs in the school Malayala thilakkam
has done. Some students went to attend a three day seminar. This day went well.
The day-10 started with prayer and JRC meeting was done in the school. I
started a new chapter in physics and completed one lesson plan on the topic ‘plane
mirrors and smooth curved surfaces.’ The student-teacher Tintu Sam came to my
class for peer evaluation. My lesson plan was based on Co-operative learning
model and cartoon based learning. This week went well.
