Weekly Reflection On School Internship Phase 2

Weekly Reflection from 7 Jan- 11 Jan 2019

                        The sixth week of school internship was from 7 January 2019 – 11 Jan 2019. The school was getting ready for school anniversary programs and students were practicing programs for the school anniversary. I had completed two lesson plans, heat capacity and freezing of water and surface tension of water. The content was transacted through activities and students were interested and some cartoons were shown related to the topic as part of the project.

                         8 and 9 Jan 2109 was leave as there was strike. On 10 Jan, got three periods and was able to complete two lesson plans on the topic components of water and reaction of water with metals also took remedial teaching. The practices for school anniversary were taking place and collected information for conscientisation.

                        On 11 Jan, I’ve completed lesson plan on the topic water the universal solvent. The content was transacted through various activities. This week went well.

Weekly reflection on school internship phase 2 Weekly reflection from 26 Nov – 1 Dec 2018 “ Education is the best friend. An educated person is respected everywhere. Education beats the beauty and the youth.”       - Chanakya   Third week of the school internship phase 2 started from 26 Nov -1 Dec 2018. This week was very special and proud moment as Sri. Shashi Tharoor [M.P.], came to Mount Tabor Pathanapuram for the Mar Thoma Dionysius Memorial Lecture on 27 Nov. On Monday (26 Nov), the school work started with prayer at 9:50 am and reached the college by 9am. Today I’ve got an extra period as the English teacher was not present. I completed one lesson plan of topic ‘spherical mirror’ and the lesson plan was integrated with cartoon and it was my innovative work. Abdul Kalam                                      For the Internship I selected Mount Tabor H.S.S., Pathanapuram for the 30 days teaching practice. I got 8 B English medium class.
